Requesting Imaging and the Radiology System
The Radiology tab lets doctors request imaging studies and follow the status of those requests from the visit file.
🩻 Creating a request
- Choose the imaging study or diagnostic procedure
- Enter the clinical indication
- Submit the request to the Radiology System
- Monitor whether the request is pending, in progress, or completed
🖼️ Radiology team workflow
- Perform the imaging study
- Upload images such as DICOM or PNG files
- Annotate images when necessary
- Prepare and submit the radiology report
🕒 Patient timeline
Imaging orders and results are automatically logged in the patient timeline so the medical team can review them alongside the rest of the visit.
💡 Better requests: A clear clinical indication helps the radiologist understand the reason for the scan and the question being answered.
