Appointment Scheduling
Appointments can be managed centrally, by department, or by individual staff members depending on how your hospital handles bookings.
📅 Three scheduling levels
🏥 Hospital level
Patients book with the hospital or clinic. Reception can later assign the appointment to the right department or practitioner.
🏢 Department level
Patients book directly with a specific department, allowing each unit to manage its own schedule.
🧑⚕️ Staff level
Patients book with a particular doctor, consultant, or specialist for continuity of care.
⚙️ Calendar control
Each appointment level has its own calendar and availability settings, so a hospital can combine centralized booking with department and staff-specific schedules.
💡 Best fit: Use hospital-level booking for centralized triage and staff-level booking when patients usually see a preferred doctor.
