Managing Department Calendars

Each department can have its own appointment configuration so scheduling rules match the way that unit works.

📅 Where to manage it

  1. Open the Department Dashboard.
  2. Click Appointment Settings.
  3. Configure availability, scheduling rules, and department-specific appointment options.

🏢 Why department calendars help

A dentistry clinic, emergency unit, cardiology department, and general outpatient department may all need different appointment patterns. Department calendars let each one work independently while remaining inside the same hospital system.
