Creating a Department

Create departments so each hospital unit can manage the tools, staff, appointments, inventory, and targets that match its work.

🏢 Department setup

  1. Enter the department name.
  2. Enable only the features that department needs.
  3. Select or create the inventory store linked to the department.
  4. Set operational targets such as wait time, inter-arrival time, and target visits.

⚙️ Feature examples

  • Patient visits and department dashboard
  • Appointments and calendars
  • Inventory or pharmacy stock links
  • Tasks and department forms
  • Billing or service workflows where needed
✅ Configuration tip: A department should not be overloaded with tools it does not use. Enable the smallest useful set first, then expand as the workflow grows.
