Assigning Tasks and Managing the Tasks Board
Tasks help staff coordinate clinical and administrative work around a patient visit without losing responsibility or progress history.
โ What a task should include
- A clear activity to complete
- Priority level and due date
- Assigned staff member or team
- Current status as work progresses
- Comments when clarification or handover is needed
๐ How tasks support care
Add tasks such as wound dressing checks, discharge letters, follow-up consultations, or test requests.
Assign the task to yourself, a colleague, or leave it unassigned for the team to pick up.
Staff can comment, reassign, or update progress until the work is completed.
Task creation and status changes are recorded in the patient timeline.
