Discharging a Patient
The Discharge tab closes the care episode by recording the clinical outcome, instructions, and operational changes that happen when a patient leaves.

🛏 What happens after discharge
♻️ Bed status changes
The patient?s bed is freed and can be marked as Cleaning or Empty.
🕒 Timeline record
The discharge event is recorded in the visit timeline.
🔒 Visit lock option
The visit can optionally be locked to make it read-only.
🧾 Final invoice
A final bill can be generated if billing is enabled.
✅ Before discharge: Confirm that clinical notes, medication instructions, billing, and follow-up plans are complete.
