Turn your product catalog into a daily inventory workspace. This introduction to Perfect Inventory Management System explains how the dashboard connects stock levels, purchase costs, selling value and alerts so you can decide what needs attention first.

Start with the questions your stock should answer

The inventory page brings products and their stock information together. Product count tells you how many catalog entries you manage; stock quantities describe how much you hold. Total stock cost and selling value help you review the money tied up in those items. Expected profit is a planning figure based on the stock and prices recorded, rather than proof of money already earned. Low-stock and expiry alerts turn that overview into a practical work list.

Step by step

  1. Choose your working store

Check the store selector before reviewing figures. A branch manager and a central warehouse may need to act on very different stock positions.

  2. Explore the product catalog

Open an item to see its details and available actions. Get familiar with where purchases, dispensing, transfers and audits fit into the daily workflow.

  3. Read the dashboard figures together

Compare stock cost, stock value and expected profit. Accurate purchase costs, quantities and selling prices are the foundation of useful totals.

  4. Act on the alerts

Review products below their configured threshold and batches approaching expiry. Plan replenishment for the first group and investigate the second before more stock is ordered.

Remember

Keep the dashboard meaningful by recording stock movements when they happen. Delayed purchases or sales leave even a well-designed dashboard showing an incomplete picture.

Before you move on

  • Confirm the selected store before acting on its totals.
  • Set up products and opening quantities before relying on alerts.
